Moobs reduction left man with 'no regrets'
Simon Cowell has been blighted by them and even Tony Blair has not escaped their embarrassing reach.
That's right. Saggy man boobs, or moobs as they are commonly becoming known, are striking down middle age men right across the UK.
However, an increasing number of men are beginning to face up to the scourge of moobs by resorting to cosmetic surgery with one man describing having 'no regrets' at undergoing the operation.
Recent figures showed the operation to remove such drooping – known medically as gynaecomastia – doubled in 2006 when compared to 2005.
Steven Beale told the Times that he underwent the operation successfully in 2003 and was in and out of the hospital in a matter of hours.
He said: "It's great. Not only do I no longer have the 'unattractive protuberances' themselves but the effect on my overall silhouette has been just as dramatic.
"While I do profess awe - and a little skepticism - for those who say they're happy with themselves and would never 'fiddle with their bodies', I have no regrets whatsoever.
"I very much doubt any other bloke who had moobs, and now doesn't, would disagree."
