Tyra Banks once considered boob reduction
Model Tyra Banks once considered breast reduction surgery, she has said in an interview.
The US model and TV personality said that she had considered the idea after being encouraged to tape down her chest earlier in her career.
However in the end it was the thought of post-op scarring that led her to cut, not her breasts but, the plan itself.
In an interview with CNN's Larry King, Banks said of the early stages of her career: "When I was a fashion model… certain designers would bind my breasts down with Ace bandages."
She added: "They made clothes that were a certain size and it didn't fit in my chest."
According to Banks there is still a smaller range of clothing options available for C-cup women such as herself.
Banks also revealed her envy of women who can wear tank tops without a bra.
Breast reduction surgery in the UK typically costs around £4,000.
