Widow of Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love, is rumoured to have undergone plastic surgery in Paris.

US Weekly reported that a source close to the controversial music star said her friend opted to have her lips reduced and her nose surgically widened.

The surgeon that Love visited is said to be a specialist in correcting surgical procedures which have gone wrong.

Love visited Paris before Christmas and the source said the singer is "happy to have her mouth back" after possessing surgically enhanced lips for a number of years.

US weekly recently asked Love at a premiere whether she had been operated on.

She said: "I'm not going to comment on that tonight. I just think me looking human is cool."

One of Love's recent internet blog's stated she was giving up plastic surgery as a New Year's resolution.
