Makeover show to hit UK screens
The third series of a popular makeover show is coming to our screens and it is expected to be a big hit with viewers.
The programme, called Ten Years Younger, has doubled its running time to an hour in a bid to give viewers the chance to enjoy more of a story-based offering.
Nicky Hambleton-Jones, who will be hosting the show, told the Manchester Evening News that in the previous format, "You never actually got to know anything about the individual, or the chance to identify with them".
"We're about much more than cosmetic surgery," she added.
"We look at your hair, your skin, your teeth, your clothes - it's really a total transformation. We don't aim to make the person look different, just a better version of themselves."
Included in the series are a number of new departures, including more visits to public events, where people will give their forthright views on the week's candidate and their likely age.
The show will get its first airing on Channel 4 on November 29th.
