Macpherson relaxes her stance on plastic surgery
Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson, nicknamed "The Body" for her amazing figure, has relaxed her stance on plastic surgery, according to reports.
Despite gathering a reputation for objecting to women who underwent plastic surgery, it seems the 42-year-old stunner has softened her views.
Her comments tie in with the launch of a new anti-ageing skincare product from ModelCo, which Macpherson is promoting.
She told the Australian she has relaxed her belief on plastic surgery and injectable treatments.
The leggy blonde said: "Having fun in life is so important. I realise my capacity to have fun and embrace life has increased as I become older. These are the things that give me energy.
"What I'm saying now is that you don't necessarily have to go and have surgery, that women can make a choice."
Macpherson is a strong supporter of breast cancer awareness and launched the inaugural campaign Fashion Targets Breast Cancer in Dublin in 2005.
